Anselmo Maurizi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexis González showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Guido Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Gartxot in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when León Carrera got free with Anselmo Maurizi in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Growling Dolar's late challenge caught a MARTINETA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Growling Dolar helped the player get up and apologised. Growling Dolar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Emanuel Mammana, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Guido Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Golo Dolar to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dolar Blue Ψ's zone, Ezequiel Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Maurizi came out of the goal and Ezequiel Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Gartxot got free with Guido Herrera in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anselmo Maurizi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Torres in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Erasmo Gartxot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Herrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 63rd minute Ezequiel Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Maurizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MARTINETA's Guido Herrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save MARTINETA from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Alexis González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Maurizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Maurizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Ramiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dante Oton fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dolar Blue Ψ's protests and gave Dante Oton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, one of Dolar Blue Ψ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dolar Blue Ψ. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for MARTINETA. Emanuel Mammana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anselmo Maurizi. 2-3. In the 92nd minute, Golo Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolar Blue Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Ezequiel Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Maurizi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The MARTINETA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dolar Blue Ψ's performance. The match ended with a win for Dolar Blue Ψ.
