Gozilla's Akis Martinakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Gozilla from getting a goal against them. Akis Martinakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Otsando in the 10th minute. Akis Martinakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Otsando went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 23 minutes, Vacid Oğuzata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabzonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vacid Oğuzata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akis Martinakos was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Alejo Otsando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alejo Otsando really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 32nd match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutluay Özcan to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Claus charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Claus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gozilla booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fokas Souflas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gozilla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Alejo Otsando scored to the left of an out of position Akis Martinakos, making the score, 5-0. Alejo Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gozilla's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Otsando came free, but Akis Martinakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Otsando to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giorgos Kamakaris made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Trabzonspor's Alejo Otsando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akis Martinakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Alejo Otsando took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akis Martinakos. Akis Martinakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Akis Martinakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Otsando in the 63rd minute of the match. If Hasan Hüseyin Akşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Vacid Oğuzata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Vacid Oğuzata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akis Martinakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Akis Martinakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Otsando went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Akis Martinakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Otsando, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Ilias Kotoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Kerem Erek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akis Martinakos was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Akis Martinakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kerem Erek's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The Trabzonspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Trabzonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kerem Erek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Kerem Erek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Akis Martinakos. Gozilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kerem Erek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. A well-hit corner resulted in Sezen Nebi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee ended the match the Trabzonspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
