In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Freddy Mercurio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, • REGINA •'s goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Elija came free, but Guillermo Ochoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Ochoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Pio went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Elija in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Ochoa saved • REGINA • from getting behind. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by • REGINA •'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Lupo was slow to take the kick. During this time Crottos Crotters F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Adrian Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Ochoa having to interfere. Guillermo Ochoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Elija in the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Pio during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Adrian Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Gabirel in the 32nd minute of play. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Benigno Elija looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Crottos Crotters F.C. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adrian Pio hit a great ball. The • REGINA • players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crottos Crotters F.C. were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benigno Elija was the one to do the kick off. Guillermo Ochoa made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Evaristo Brion sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute Fryderyk Kanczuszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Crottos Crotters F.C.'s zone, Gilberto Gabirel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Mercurio came out of the goal and Gilberto Gabirel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Verdonckt, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Freddy Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Kanczuszewski in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind • REGINA •'s goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benigno Elija blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Ochoa having to make a save. • REGINA •'s Julian Quiñones was substituted for Edgard Panfilo. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Leonel Messi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in • REGINA •'s zone, Leonel Messi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Ochoa came out of the goal and Leonel Messi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Quiñones in the 89th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Freddy Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Leonel Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillermo Ochoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. A hard shot 94 in the game by Leonel Messi from a close distance when the talented Guillermo Ochoa managed to make a qualified save. • REGINA •'s players were relieved. With his leg Guillermo Ochoa managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Leonel Messi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The • REGINA • supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Crottos Crotters F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Crottos Crotters F.C..
