Rafael Tano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 12th minute, Ubaldo Matildo Watkins made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Tano. After 17 played minutes, Säfvahöjden's Michel Brun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Tano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Säfvahöjden reached it. Ubaldo Matildo Watkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Tano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Säfvahöjden's Joakim Hammarström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Paz, made in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 26th minute of the game Jorge Paz made a throw-in which Arnulfo Illart played forward. Rafael Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Matildo Watkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes, Jorge Paz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Lanus and the Säfvahöjden players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubaldo Matildo Watkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Tano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Säfvahöjden's Bernt Modig seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernt Modig the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Säfvahöjden protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernt Modig had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bernt Modig kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Guaberto Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hamnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Säfvahöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Bastia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Alejo Bastia hit a great ball. After the first half Säfvahöjden were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magne Hansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Nereo Diaz notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Säfvahöjden's August Hamnberg. August Hamnberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Diaz in the 57th minute of play forced Säfvahöjden's goalkeeper August Hamnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Säfvahöjden's Magne Hansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Tano. That made the score 1-4 after 59 minutes of play. Rafael Tano was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Magne Hansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magne Hansson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Rafael Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaro Bey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Hamnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Diaz in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Lanus's zone, Bastiaro Bey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Tano came out of the goal and Bastiaro Bey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Club Atletico Lanus's Rafael Tano got control of the ball when Magne Hansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Magne Hansson took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Rafael Tano to make any attempt to save it. Rafael Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastiaro Bey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Tingberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Tano came out and tried to block the shot, but Anders Tingberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 90th minute. Rafael Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Hansson in the 97th minute of the match.
