Bazellatin F.C.'s Argyris Panagos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Matos in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, one of Bazellatin F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bazellatin F.C.. The referee gave Coelho FC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Augusto Alagoano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bazellatin F.C.'s Argyris Panagos. 1-1. In the 42nd minute of the match, Paris Korellas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romário Vianna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half Coelho FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Matos to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Dênis Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argyris Panagos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argyris Panagos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paris Korellas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ilias Zelidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Romário Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Vale in the 90th minute of play forced Bazellatin F.C.'s goalkeeper Argyris Panagos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bazellatin F.C. had played much better football throughout.
