In the 13th minute, Severo Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Centenario Bohemio fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Centenario Bohemio's Mauro Fontanini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Loco Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Fontanini in the 20th minute of the match. Centenario Bohemio were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Aguila Romana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Gaur took the corner. The corner ended in Aristides Gaur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aguila Romana's Loco Gatti did a great save. Centenario Bohemio's Severo Maju suffered a sore thigh after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Aguila Romana getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Haroldo Blanco hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Aristides Gaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's Mauro Fontanini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loco Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Emilio Arias notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Aguila Romana's Loco Gatti. Loco Gatti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 37 in the game by Americo Dorio from a close distance when the talented Ignacio Bessone managed to make a qualified save. Centenario Bohemio's players were relieved. Americo Dorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacio Bessone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Dorio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ignacio Bessone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Centenario Bohemio's Diego Becker got a free kick in the 45th minute. Americo Dorio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Ignacio Bessone skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Fontanini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Juan Martínez fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguila Romana's protests and gave Juan Martínez a yellow card for diving instead. Loco Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Fontanini's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Americo Dorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Bessone was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 73 minutes, Benigno Luzaide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguila Romana and the Centenario Bohemio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benigno Luzaide hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Carlo Lattanzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco Gatti having to interfere. Mauro Fontanini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Loco Gatti came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Fontanini slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 81st minute. Ignacio Bessone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Oliveiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Lattanzio got free with Loco Gatti in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 played minutes Aguila Romana got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Gilen. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Mauro Fontanini took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Loco Gatti to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Centenario Bohemio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
