After a rather tough play, BlueLionesse's Gelu Măcrinici got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 10 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Aimar. Rene Lluis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Stănoiu in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Lluis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Suárez's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lekubegi in the 19th minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Tomas Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Panpili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Pacheco in the 22nd minute. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Rene Lluis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Ursu in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lekubegi came free, but Tomas Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Isac Begal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Traian Ursu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Lluis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matías Suárez took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Lluis. Rene Lluis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Fisica UNT players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BlueLionesse were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Matías Suárez made the kick off in the second half. Rene Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Ursu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Conor Gallagher took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Panpili. Tomas Panpili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Isac Begal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Lluis having to make a save. The referee ignored BlueLionesse's protests and gave Gelu Măcrinici a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Gong Zhen Jie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Hogaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Panpili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Panfilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Horaţiu Hogaș put in a rough tackle. BlueLionesse's Horea Diaconescu was substituted for Corneliu Stănoiu. 95 minutes into the game, one of BlueLionesse:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. BlueLionesse:s Tomas Panpili showed great skill when he stopped Conor Gallagher:s penalty. BlueLionesse's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
