The referee ignored FC Aytos's protests and gave Yulian Momkov a yellow card for diving instead. Vesko Petelov, 3 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Eduard Helbling notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Enex's Gerasim Kúsmetski. Gerasim Kúsmetski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduard Helbling struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gerasim Kúsmetski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Aytos. 17 minutes into the match, Slavi Svilarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerasim Kúsmetski. Enex's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Slavi Svilarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Hristo Stoichkov fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enex's protests and gave Hristo Stoichkov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Enex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristo Stoichkov to maneuver through the defense. If Eduard Helbling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerasim Kúsmetski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Helbling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Serafim Ferkov fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enex's protests and gave Serafim Ferkov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, one of Enex:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Enex. Eduard Helbling kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gerasim Kúsmetski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slavi Svilarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hristo Stoichkov to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Slavi Svilarov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerasim Kúsmetski. That made the score 2-4 in the 54 minute of play. Preslav Kerachev charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Preslav Kerachev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85thth minute of the game Hristo Stoichkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Aytos's Vasko Danchev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enex's goalkeeper Gerasim Kúsmetski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, FC Aytos's Slavi Svilarov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerasim Kúsmetski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. FC Aytos played a much better game than Enex and deserved their victory. The Enex players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
