A collision led to POPODARA F.C getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rune Vistnes hit a great ball. Jörn Erserman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Victor Valdez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Melum in the 7th minute of play forced Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Åke Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor-Ivar Kalland struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Åke Johnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POPODARA F.C. A collision led to POPODARA F.C getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Paulino Leonidas hit a great ball. When Blomstermåla BK's Bengt-Rune Rosen in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POPODARA F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Ib Yattara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Åke Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Blomstermåla BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, POPODARA F.C's Tor-Ivar Kalland got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Bengt-Rune Rosen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POPODARA F.C's Victor Valdez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Bengt-Rune Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Valdez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Blomstermåla BK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jörn Erserman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in POPODARA F.C's zone, Jörn Erserman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Valdez came out of the goal and Jörn Erserman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Valdez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Rosen in the 45th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Rosen in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Valdez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Rune Rosen was the one to do the kick off. Paulino Leonidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of POPODARA F.C booed when Blomstermåla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Leonidas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, POPODARA F.C's Åke Johnsson threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ib Yattara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Åke Johnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ib Yattara's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Jörn Erserman succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Ole-Petter Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ib Yattara was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. POPODARA F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 76 played minutes POPODARA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Runar Melum. After 77 played minutes Blomstermåla BK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Rosen. 80 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Erserman came free, but Victor Valdez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes Blomstermåla BK got a freekick which was hit by Markus Broberg. The crowd rose to their feet as POPODARA F.C's Ib Yattara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Åke Johnsson. That made the score 1-1 after 84 minutes of play. POPODARA F.C's Victor Valdez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Rosen in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by POPODARA F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carl Nordlander was slow to take the kick. During this time Blomstermåla BK's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Bengt-Rune Rosen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Runar Melum might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Runar Melum ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Nordlander lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Åke Johnsson, was totally fooled by POPODARA F.C's Rune Vistnes, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. POPODARA F.C played a much better game than Blomstermåla BK and deserved their victory. The Blomstermåla BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
