In the 2nd minute, El retorno del Pincha's Arturo Baladi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bebeto Cardoso. Bebeto Cardoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 10th minute Ermegildo Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Segundo Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Haridades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Braga. Bebeto Cardoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emilio Sugar. Roy Peto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El retorno del Pincha's Ermegildo Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bebeto Cardoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Sidnei Barbosa hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Arturo Baladis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Bebeto Cardoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roberto Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermegildo Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bebeto Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice moves Romeu Sanches could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Roy Peto however easily saved by the left post. Bebeto Cardoso came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by El retorno del Pincha's Arturo Baladi. But to his dismay, Arturo Baladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Arturo Baladi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Cardoso. Bebeto Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Bebeto Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Tavio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Segundo Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Asteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Tavio in the 67th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Bebeto Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Arturo Baladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Cardoso having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Tavio came free, but Bebeto Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Segundo Shepherd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bebeto Cardoso. Haridades F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Segundo Shepherd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. A collision led to Haridades F.C getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Roberto Siqueira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Shepherd in the 75th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Bebeto Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bebeto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ermegildo Tavio took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Cardoso. Bebeto Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Bebeto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Haridades F.C defense, Arturo Baladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bebeto Cardoso. The Haridades F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bebeto Cardoso should have stopped the shot. Ermegildo Tavio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bebeto Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bebeto Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Baladi in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, El retorno del Pincha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Conrado de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haridades F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El retorno del Pincha the free kick. In the 95th minute, Conrado de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
