In the 9th minute, Nathan Kostermans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bal op het Dak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A hard shot 17 in the game by Sever Patriciu from a close distance when the talented Carsten Maurits managed to make a qualified save. FC Bal op het Dak's players were relieved. When FC Bal op het Dak's Martien Degenkamp in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Luck's goalie prevented a goal. FC Luck's Nicu Mincu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathan Kostermans in the 28th minute of play. The throw-in from Roderick Jonker in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Luck's Gavril Neicu. Nicu Mincu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Kostermans in the 33rd minute of the match. Carsten Maurits took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Babeș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Mart Harmens notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Luck's Nicu Mincu. Nicu Mincu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Mutu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Mercescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Nathan Kostermans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicu Mincu. The goal made the score 0-4. 58 minutes into the match, Eduard Mutu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carsten Maurits. FC Bal op het Dak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Mutu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Mutu in the 61st minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Carsten Maurits to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicu Mincu came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bal op het Dak's Ricky Zuidema. But to his dismay, Ricky Zuidema quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After a rather tough play, FC Bal op het Dak's Carel Zuid got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Scutaru in the 66th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Carsten Maurits to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Luck's Nicu Mincu got control of the ball when Nathan Kostermans tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Wouter Spiering hit a great ball. Nicu Mincu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martien Degenkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Nicu Mincu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Kostermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Bal op het Dak's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
