The crowd rose to their feet as Nick Daniels kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrik Sikström. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 6th minute Petrus Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Osmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Seterma Tractors booed when SK Mons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauren Van Eyken didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademir Tande in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Connor Osmond saved SK Mons from getting behind. After a rather tough play, SK Mons's Steven Puttemans got a free kick in the 18th minute. Paulo Renato Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Renato Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Seterma Tractors got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Pombal. 26 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Puttemans came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Connor Osmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Tande in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Puttemans in the 29th minute of play forced Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Patrik Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero de Medeiros in the 34th minute of play forced SK Mons's goalkeeper Connor Osmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Steven Puttemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Seterma Tractors got a freekick which was hit by Cícero de Medeiros. If Steven Puttemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Puttemans in the 45th minute of the match. Cícero de Medeiros hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ademir Tande to make the kick off. Patrik Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Daniels in the 52nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Connor Osmond successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edgardo Bauza kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Steven Puttemans struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Patrik Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Mons. Ademir Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Connor Osmond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademir Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Puttemans came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero de Medeiros's late challenge caught a SK Mons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cícero de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute Nick Daniels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Connor Osmond made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SK Mons's Cesar Vrijdags got a free kick in the 70th minute. Seterma Tractors's Cícero de Medeiros shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Connor Osmond but with some difficulty. 75 minutes into the game, SK Mons's Nick Daniels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Sikström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 80 minutes into the match, Ademir Tande dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Connor Osmond, 3-1. Connor Osmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero de Medeiros in the 85th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cícero de Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Connor Osmond was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 86 minutes, Cícero de Medeiros made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. SK Mons's Connor Osmond tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Degraef kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, SK Mons's goalkeeper Connor Osmond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademir Tande. Seterma Tractors's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because SK Mons had won, even though Seterma Tractors had held more of the ball.
