LA DEL MONO's Humberto Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yoachim Hauwaerts during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sammy Godts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Bastia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. If Ryan Kempenaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Kempenaerts in the 19th minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Ryan Kempenaerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suikerklontjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Suikerklontjes's Yoachim Hauwaerts got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by David Bastia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yoachim Hauwaerts was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Suikerklontjes getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Yoachim Hauwaerts hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Sammy Godts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Bastia. Sammy Godts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bastia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Herald Van de Goor fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suikerklontjes's protests and gave Herald Van de Goor a yellow card for diving instead. Herald Van de Goor kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ryan Kempenaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Betadur having to interfere. Suikerklontjes's Sammy Godts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Suikerklontjes from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryan Kempenaerts made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Van de Velde in the 52nd minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sammy Godts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Humberto Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, LA DEL MONO's Humberto Leocadio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sammy Godts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 62 minutes into the match, Honorato Chap had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sammy Godts. Suikerklontjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Chap was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Sammy Godts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, David Bastia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sammy Godts was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. LA DEL MONO's Humberto Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Suikerklontjes's zone, Honorato Chap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Godts came out of the goal and Honorato Chap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Conrado Frascuelo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Humberto Leocadio hit a great ball.
