But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babür Gürgen couldn't finish the play. Burak Ersal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Barniszke having to interfere. Arkadiusz Barniszke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burak Ersal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes of play, LOI's Babür Gürgen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arkadiusz Barniszke was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babür Gürgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, LOI's Mehmet Ferit Zafir got a free kick in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the game, LOI's Babür Gürgen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arkadiusz Barniszke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 35th minute, Burak Ersal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 39th minute, Metin Semi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Barniszke was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Arkadiusz Barniszke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metin Semi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the game, LOI's Babür Gürgen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Babür Gürgen took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Arkadiusz Barniszke to make any attempt to save it. Pawel Paciuszko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Lesardo having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Rickard Thidén notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of FC Barcelona's Arkadiusz Barniszke. Arkadiusz Barniszke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Ludomil Plachetka got a free kick in the 68th minute. Rickard Thidén who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Arkadiusz Barniszke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Barcelona's goalie and right to Burak Ersal. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Barcelona's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. LOI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
