Mauricio Erauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Mauricio Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Cruz in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Joško Gvardiol got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Rio Tercero defense, António Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Erauso. The Club Atletico Rio Tercero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Erauso should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Club Atletico Rio Tercero getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Efrain Chuse hit a great ball. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Mauricio Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Mafra in the 38th minute of play. Mauricio Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Šeško in the 41st minute of the match. Mauricio Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Mafra in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Ibañez to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Serafim Mafra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GD Almargense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim Mafra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alejandro Ibañez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudemiro Tristão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Enzo Millot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Erauso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. GD Almargense's Adérito Pinheiro was substituted for António Cruz. GD Almargense's Rasmus Højlund was substituted for Benjamin Šeško. GD Almargense's Alexandre Valadares was substituted for Serafim Mafra. Mauricio Erauso made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alexandre Valadares sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Alexandre Valadares notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Mauricio Erauso. Mauricio Erauso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 69 played minutes GD Almargense got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Eanes. 71 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Valadares came free, but Mauricio Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. GD Almargense's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
