Guaberto Frasquito charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Frasquito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Guaberto Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Odol Abancens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júnior Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Secco was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odol Abancens in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the game, Cleiton Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magnistar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional Potosí the free kick. After a rather tough play, Magnistar's Cleiton Cruz got a free kick in the 69th minute. Kléber Secco scored 0-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valery Abecia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valery Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute Odol Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacional Potosí's Valery Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Secco in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Magnistar booed when Nacional Potosí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júnior Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Criston Abendano's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Magnistar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
