After 3 played minutes, DARAS's Iliya Kasabov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zoheir Chadl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DARAS reached it. In the 8th minute, Boncho Zhilev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zoheir Chadl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zoheir Chadl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boncho Zhilev, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Toni Nenchev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoheir Chadl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Adab FC booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetoslav Hrulev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grisha Dragulev kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Bouzid Bentifour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dobrin Beremov made a huge save. Boncho Zhilev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoheir Chadl having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grisha Dragulev to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Boncho Zhilev got a free kick in the 46th minute. Zoheir Chadl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Nenchev in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abd al-Asis Lacen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toni Nenchevs short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Zoheir Chadl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zoheir Chadl was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Boncho Zhilev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boncho Zhilev really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Toni Nenchev hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Dobrin Beremov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bouzid Bentifour in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Grisha Dragulev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bouzid Bentifour in the 63rd minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Dobrin Beremov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobrin Beremov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bouzid Bentifour went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Brahim Saïd-Guerni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DARAS made a substitution. Kostadin Mazhdrakov replaced Toni Nenchev. After 73 played minutes Adab FC got a freekick which was hit by Brahim Saïd-Guerni. 73 minutes into the match, Adab FC's goalkeeper Zoheir Chadl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostadin Mazhdrakov. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostadin Mazhdrakov in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zoheir Chadl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Djamel Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dobrin Beremov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Rumen Dzhananov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djamel Belloumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobrin Beremov having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Djamel Belloumi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adab FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DARAS the free kick. Djamel Belloumi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Boncho Zhilev notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Adab FC's Zoheir Chadl. Zoheir Chadl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The DARAS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DARAS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
