After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sorci Viola! Cesare Simone had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Willem-Alexander Vercauteren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 91 played minutes Ali Dem rounded Sorci Viola's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. KFC Cromvelde's Kim Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Zoff in the 96th minute of play. With a little luck, Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone got control of the ball when Willem-Alexander Vercauteren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KFC Cromvelde eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
