The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Kjell Eliasson got a free kick in the 30th minute. Martin Fossum took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Arne Biörnberg. Stig-Arne Biörnberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Martin Fossum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Biörnberg. Ghost Hunters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Fossum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mark Mickelsson hit a great ball. After the first half AFK Petržalka were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Martin Fossum made the kick off in the second half. Rick Haremeijer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Stig-Arne Biörnberg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Fossum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig-Arne Biörnberg. That made the score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. Martin Fossum scored 0-7 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Arne Biörnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Fossum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Biörnberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Fossum in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Arne Biörnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Stig-Arne Biörnberg managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when AFK Petržalka's Martin Fossum fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 72 in the game by Martin Fossum from a close distance when the talented Stig-Arne Biörnberg managed to make a qualified save. Ghost Hunters's players were relieved. Rasmus Wennersten charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasmus Wennersten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th play minute Nikola Krstović came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stig-Arne Biörnberg. 0-8. Stig-Arne Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Borglin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Nikola Krstović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikola Krstović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Nikola Krstović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Stig-Arne Biörnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikola Krstović in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Arne Biörnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Haremeijer in the 96th minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFK Petržalka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
