If Bennie Bok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4 minutes into the game, Prudencio Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Habsburgo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osdorp FC the free kick. Rodrigo Azubeli made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Bennie Bok sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Prudencio Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Roorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Habsburgo's Rodrigo Azubeli got control of the ball when Guido Solis tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil van Fessum in the 17th minute of play forced Habsburgo's goalkeeper Rodrigo Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Carlo Windmuller put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Osdorp FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Osdorp FC booed when Habsburgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Habsburgo defense, Guido Solis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Azubeli. The Habsburgo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Azubeli should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes Osdorp FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Solis.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Roelofs to strike the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Thomas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hans Roorda came out and tried to block the shot, but Prudencio Thomas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. Osdorp FC's Hans Roorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Bonito in the 67th minute of play. Bennie Bok scored 2-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Azubeli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Evert Roelofs put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Azubeli. 74 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Bonito came free, but Hans Roorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osdorp FC's Hans Roorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Thomas in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Bennie Bok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osdorp FC's Hans Roorda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Osdorp FC from getting a goal against them. Osdorp FC's Guido Solis got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maarten Grol hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Mario Mendebal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Habsburgo and the Osdorp FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Osdorp FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
