The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Holub in the 3rd minute of play forced Chamaicó's goalkeeper Erasmo Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Oriol in the 13th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Peter Holub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Dayam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Melon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Fedor in the 24th minute. The corner led to FC Melon's Peter Holub getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Erasmo Dayam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Hvorecký in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Michal Hvorecký notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chamaicó's Erasmo Dayam. Erasmo Dayam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Chamaicó defense, Peter Holub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Dayam. The Chamaicó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Dayam should have stopped the shot. Edgar Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Hvorecký sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustino Matai made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Gabriel Cibulka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Dayam. The goal made the score 0-4. FC Melon's Michal Hvorecký got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Melon made a substitution. Erik Šrobár replaced Martin Fedor. A collision led to Chamaicó getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. David Tajo hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Holub came free, but Erasmo Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Venancio Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chamaicó's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Koldobika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Holub was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. FC Melon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gabriel Cibulka took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Dayam. Erasmo Dayam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 75 minutes into the match, FC Melon's Gabriel Cibulka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Dayam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgar Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Matai in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Melon's goalkeeper Edgar Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's goalkeeper Erasmo Dayam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Šrobár. After 90 played minutes Chamaicó got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Oriol. Peter Holub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Dayam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Peter Holub might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Dayam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Holub ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute Peter Holub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Dayam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hvorecký came free, but Erasmo Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chamaicó's Evaristo Bazil got a free kick in the 94th minute. Erik Šrobár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Dayam having to interfere. FC Melon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
