After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Esteban Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester Quijano's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nestor Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marzagão's protests and gave Nestor Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Nestor Galvão got a free kick in the 9th minute. Clud Almagro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brooks Shields, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Abancens succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Marzagão:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manchester Quijano:s goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Cesar Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzagão's Mané Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brooks Shields might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clud Almagro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brooks Shields ran back to his position shaking his head. Clud Almagro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brooks Shields's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Clud Almagro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th play minute Oscar Rito came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mané Pinho. 4-0. Mané Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Manny in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cesar Abancens made the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Fantini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Rito in the 63rd minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Mané Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Manchester Quijano's Clud Almagro got control of the ball when Pedro Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Nestor Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Itzaina kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Bartolo Tulio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester Quijano and the Marzagão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Rito in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Manchester Quijano's Cesar Abancens got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 96 played minutes Manchester Quijano got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Itzaina. Clud Almagro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brooks Shields in the 98th minute of play. Manchester Quijano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
