Karol Biskupiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. İsa Ulaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Jankowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Muzaffer Beşir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Chilavert skillfully saved the ball.
