The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when F.C. Cagayan Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Pacubas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, F.C. Cagayan Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Tiadoro came free, but Isko Buyco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isko Buyco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Tiadoro's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. F.C. Cagayan Academy's Isko Buyco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Rosio in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ernie Licuanan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, F.C. Cagayan Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Tiadoro came free, but Isko Buyco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Rosio in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isko Buyco saved F.C. Cagayan Academy from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isagani Tiongson during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, F.C. Cagayan Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isagani Tiongson to maneuver through the defense. Isko Buyco came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bendito Sea El Fernet's Eustaquio Tiadoro. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Tiadoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Marcial Rosio scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isko Buyco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bonifacio Pacubas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Marcial Rosio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isko Buyco. F.C. Cagayan Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Rosio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After 54 played minutes F.C. Cagayan Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ernie Licuanan. Eustaquio Tiadoro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Isko Buyco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bendito Sea El Fernet. In the 59th minute, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Marcial Rosio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isko Buyco. Isko Buyco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 64 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Tiadoro lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Isko Buyco. Isko Buyco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Tiadoro in the 69th minute. Tomás Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Parapusle Tiongson in the 71st minute of play. Parapusle Tiongson scored 1-7 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Maule, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eustaquio Tiadoro came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isko Buyco could save by the left post. From close distance Eustaquio Tiadoro pressed in the 1-8 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 83 minutes into the game. Baldomiro Guerrero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Bernabe Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bendito Sea El Fernet walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
