After 52 minutes, Gaya Mäe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Cobrinha FR and the EDI MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edílson de Souza in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundo Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as EDI MZB's Edílson de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmundo Veiga. That made the score 0-5 after 60 minutes of play. With his leg Edmundo Veiga managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when EDI MZB's Gustavo Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the game, EDI MZB's Marcos Baiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when Real Cobrinha FR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, EDI MZB's Gustavo Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. The EDI MZB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing EDI MZB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
