Louis Remmers's late challenge caught a Trescientos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Remmers helped the player get up and apologised. Louis Remmers kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Bernardo Umaña hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Trescientos's Pang Shi Bang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uli Türk in the 16th minute of play. Burbano Dios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Mallinger having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Uli Türk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FV Wienerwald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uli Türk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FV Wienerwald's Marcel Mallinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Llorenc in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Uli Türk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pang Shi Bang was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Uli Türks short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Pang Shi Bang to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Saenger to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Moratschke in the 43rd minute of play forced Trescientos's goalkeeper Pang Shi Bang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörg Moratschke to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jörg Moratschke notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Trescientos's Pang Shi Bang. Pang Shi Bang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, FV Wienerwald could leave the field as winners, despite Trescientos having more of the ball for most of the match.
