Guanacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Frans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Gaston Frans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Teodoro Reyes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Guzman scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Reyes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Konurbano Atletico booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Rio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Guanacos's Celso Frutos got control of the ball when Ovidio Umea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match Ovidio Umea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Frutos skillfully saved the ball. Orlando Gonza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Teodoro Reyes made a huge save. Teodoro Reyes made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Orlando Gonza sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Everardo Ezkerra notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Guanacos's Celso Frutos.
