In the 12th minute, Evaristo Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixten Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Beaune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustapha Boutier made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Tord Kämpe sent off a good shot on target. Lillhärdal BF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ludvig Svensson in the 16th minute. The supporters of Lillhärdal BF booed when Lyon 69ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Meister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustapha Boutier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Svensson in the 17th minute of the match. Sixten Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Lendaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Svensson came free, but Mustapha Boutier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Meister in the 22nd minute of play forced Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixten Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Lecanu in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Lyon 69ers were awarded a corner. Mathias Lecanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Mathias Lecanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lillhärdal BF's Sixten Nordström did a great save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloísio Lendaa to strike the kick off in the second half. Sixten Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eraldo Fantini in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Jean-Charles Garros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyon 69ers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lillhärdal BF the free kick. Jean-Charles Garros hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mustapha Boutier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Meister came free, but Sixten Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Kämpe came free, but Mustapha Boutier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustapha Boutier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Kämpe in the 66th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Tom Beaune reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sixten Nordström. The goal made the score 0-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lyon 69ers getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jean-Charles Garros hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Tord Kämpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustapha Boutier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Larsson in the 87th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Svensson came free, but Mustapha Boutier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Nordström came out of the goal and Marc Meister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lyon 69ers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
