In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Indiana University's goalkeeper Barışcan İnegöllü, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radomil Wykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Kocaman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barışcan İnegöllü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Kalak in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Grzegorz Kalak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barışcan İnegöllü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Wykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykut Kocaman in the 34th minute of the match. Güneş Polatkan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Wiktor Koperski kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Kazimierz Deyna made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Dursun Ali Serdaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indiana University's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dursun Ali Serdaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Stoners's Radomil Wykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut Kocaman in the 53rd minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Güneş Polatkan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 57th minute Youri Simonot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barışcan İnegöllü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Wykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykut Kocaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goalkeeper Barışcan İnegöllü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Czysty. In the 68thth minute of the game Aykut Kocaman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Stoners's Radomil Wykowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Aykut Kocaman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radomil Wykowski was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Barışcan İnegöllü was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kazimierz Deyna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. Barışcan İnegöllü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Simonot in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Deyna came free, but Barışcan İnegöllü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykut Kocaman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Radomil Wykowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goalkeeper Barışcan İnegöllü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kazimierz Deyna. A collision led to FC Stoners getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Miroslaw Kuszczak hit a great ball. Radomil Wykowski came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Indiana University's Aykut Kocaman. But to his dismay, Aykut Kocaman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The FC Stoners supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Stoners would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
