The crowd rose to their feet as Paulopolis's Marcel Vieira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Helger Jaas. That made the score 0-1 after 89 minutes of play. After 95 minutes, Sílvio Luís Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulopolis and the Dune players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chants of Paulopolis echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Dune had held the ball for most of the match.
