None of the them looked very eager to play. 毛明昆 started the match with the kick off. Chorroarín's Anier Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu de Castro in the 4th minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Jorge Gomesano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Proteu's Isaltino Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Prata. After 10 played minutes Proteu got a freekick which was hit by Julian Elia. In the 20th match minute, Proteu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qu Wei to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Isaltino Baptista managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Chorroarín's Leonel Eufemio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Luizinho Perfumo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Proteu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Denílson Tepedino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Anier Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 毛明昆, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that 毛明昆's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Abaurre was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Egoitz during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chorroarín's Eliseo Egoitz got a free kick in the 38th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Proteu's Marcelo Dejean broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Oso got free with Isaltino Baptista in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fábio Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Chorroarín's Casimiro Ortle couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Proteu.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Rodriguez made a kick off. Dudu de Castro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Proteu's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Gomesano came free, but Isaltino Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Proteu's Denílson Tepedino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Proteu's Dudu de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chorroarín made a substitution. Tiburcio Iztal replaced Leonel Eufemio. Chorroarín's Tobias Kimetz was substituted for Mateo Iago. Isaltino Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaltino Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Jorge Gomesano made a precise shot to the right of Isaltino Baptista. Proteu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ricardinho Piazza's late challenge caught a Chorroarín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardinho Piazza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Proteu getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ricardinho Piazza hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Tiburcio Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, 毛明昆 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Abaurre, 2-2. Anier Abaurre was a little too slow when Dudu de Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Chorroarín's zone, 毛明昆 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Abaurre came out of the goal and 毛明昆 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dudu de Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anier Abaurre having to make a save. Denílson Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Gomesano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Isaltino Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Proteu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
