The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Damaso Orlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleto Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Lon came free, but Amado Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club's Amado Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Mede in the 31st minute of play. When Racing Club's Damaso Orlin in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lapachito's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Damaso Orlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Alonso. Lapachito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Orlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Lon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Damaso Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Damaso Orlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Alonso was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The supporters of Lapachito booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Urko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Orlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Mede hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Racing Club's Amado Galeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Silvanito in the 76th minute of play. Damian Raphael hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Roque Eudoxio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Galeno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Orlin in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Alonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Damaso Orlin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cleto Alonso, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Orlin in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Alonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Damian Raphael was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. In the 88th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Raphael to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute of the match Zacarias Maties sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Galeno skillfully saved the ball. Although Lapachito had been in control for most of the match, Racing Club still came away with the win.
