Toninho Arruda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erland Wallin came out and tried to block the shot, but Toninho Arruda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Conny Pilblad kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Monumento Sports's Fiko Violento shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Erland Wallin but with some difficulty. In the 7th minute, Gernando Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Gernando Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erland Wallin was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Gernando Quintal put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Erland Wallin. Gernando Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Erland Wallin made a huge save. Erland Wallin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gernando Quintal sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Björn Ekström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monumento Sports's Flávio da Fonseca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Papaya's goalkeeper Erland Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Hasselqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Sena having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Flávio da Fonseca threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC Papaya's Björn Ekström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to AC Papaya getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Arvin Bäck hit a great ball. Erland Wallin made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Fiko Violento sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Quintal came free, but Erland Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Hasselqvist in the 41st minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Natanael Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, one of AC Papaya:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Papaya. The attack was good, but when Fiko Violento in the 50th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gernando Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Conny Pilblad helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes AC Papaya got a freekick which was hit by Conny Pilblad. Fiko Violento struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Erland Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monumento Sports. Natanael Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Hasselqvist in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Quintal in the 80th minute of play forced AC Papaya's goalkeeper Erland Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by AC Papaya's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fiko Violento was slow to take the kick. During this time Monumento Sports's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fiko Violento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erland Wallin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 83 minutes into the game, Ralf Nyman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Papaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monumento Sports the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Ralf Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Quintal came free, but Erland Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Monumento Sports players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
