After some careless play in the Cardo Ruso Cordobés defense, Roque Henrico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnino Honesto. The Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Honesto should have stopped the shot. After 10 played minutes Orlando Beltza shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Saturnino Honesto to catch but Orlando Beltza was lucky. It became 2-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Estudiantes de América's Roque Henrico got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Honesto having to interfere. Roque Henrico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Honesto having to make a save. Roque Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Saturnino Honesto made a huge save. Saverio Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Pascual Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartoli in the 35th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Nieves to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Saturnino Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Balesio kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Roque Henrico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Caton. Roque Henrico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Honesto having to make a save. Nemesio Jacindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Pascual Acosta made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Roque Etor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Lucio Elazar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pascual Acosta but with some difficulty. In the 70th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Etor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Nieves in the 72nd minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Pascual Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Orlando Beltza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Saturnino Honesto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucio Elazar in the 80th minute. A hard shot 81 in the game by Juan Nieves from a close distance when the talented Pascual Acosta managed to make a qualified save. Estudiantes de América's players were relieved. After 81 played minutes Cardo Ruso Cordobés got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Balesio. Pascual Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Nieves in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Pascual Acosta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Balesio. After a rather tough play, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Juan Nieves got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Estudiantes de América had won after a very even match.
