Emotep SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punk Fathers the free kick. The supporters of Punk Fathers booed when Emotep SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halis Alpman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Michalis Theodorakos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernanco Muslera. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Panos Kouventolakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brayden McPaul's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Brayden McPaul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panos Kouventolakis was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punk Fathers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brayden McPaul was slow to take the kick. During this time Emotep SK's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Brayden McPaul almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Punk Fathers's Panos Kouventolakis did a great save. Fernanco Muslera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Panagiotis Grigorakos sent off a good shot on target. If Isidoros Dellas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panos Kouventolakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halis Alpman in the 17th minute of the match. Odysseas Karouselis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Panos Kouventolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Brayden McPaul sped through Punk Fathers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Panos Kouventolakis. Panos Kouventolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Fernanco Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Theodorakos in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Emotep SK got a freekick which was hit by Mürsel Saltar. Fernanco Muslera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Isidoros Dellas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halis Alpman in the 35th minute of play forced Punk Fathers's goalkeeper Panos Kouventolakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ntinos Vlontakis hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes of play, Emotep SK's Brayden McPaul made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panos Kouventolakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Punk Fathers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Emotep SK were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Brayden McPaul made the kick off in the second half. Mürsel Saltar's late challenge caught a Punk Fathers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mürsel Saltar helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Theodorakos in the 81st minute of play forced Emotep SK's goalkeeper Fernanco Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktoras Chatzinikolaou charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
