But to his dismay, George Giurcă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Remus Boștină lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s goalkeeper Iacob Elian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half FC ciufulici were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Vlas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toader Ghișe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Iacob Elian made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edgar Vlas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ciufulici's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Vlas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Elian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Andrițoiu in the 87th minute of play. When Toader Ghișe came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC ciufulici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toader Ghișe couldn't finish the play.
