After a defensive mix-up in Villaverde Celeste Clube's zone, Vitório Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Fernandez came out of the goal and Vitório Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Botelho. Augusto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Cerezo in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Katarínus Orange made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fabiano Orange struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Augusto Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ. Augusto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Cerezo in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani got control of the ball when Miguel Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Dedé Quirino got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani got control of the ball when Miguel Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Camargo in the 46th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Katarínus Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Nicolai Otamendi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Orange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Edson-Arantes Pelé. After 54 played minutes Luiz Fabiano Orange shot from long distance. Waldemar Baptista hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Botelho came free, but Edinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 69th minute. Augusto Fernandez went to the wrong direction when Luiz Fabiano Orange was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a little luck, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Augusto Fernandez got control of the ball when Vitório Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edinho Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Campidelis in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Katarínus Orange ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Augusto Fernandez. Augusto Fernandez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Luiz Fabiano Orange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Fernandez having to interfere. When the match was over Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villaverde Celeste Clube throughout the match.
