Gerard Koh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derk Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 minutes of play, NFH Family United's Bryan Lam made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar van Rhijn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goalkeeper Edgar van Rhijn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Farhan Hui. Bryan Lam came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar van Rhijn could save by the left post. After 23 minutes of play, NFH Family United's Bryan Lam made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar van Rhijn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Didi Yip came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the NFH Family United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Yip couldn't finish the play. Edgar van Rhijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Yip in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Wong Sophie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar van Rhijn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Didi Yip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Bryan Lam recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar van Rhijn. Bryan Lam showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Edgar van Rhijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Yip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derk Rodenboog to make the kick off. After 50 minutes, Anil Namasivayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NFH Family United and the Sheep United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 50th minute, Anil Namasivayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar van Rhijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Lam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The NFH Family United fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when NFH Family United's Bryan Lam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 63 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Lam came free, but Edgar van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Didi Yip in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar van Rhijn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryan Lam in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar van Rhijn saved Sheep United from getting behind. After 77 minutes of play, NFH Family United's Bryan Lam made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar van Rhijn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When NFH Family United's Bryan Lam in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sheep United's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NFH Family United fully deserved thier win.
