The supporters of Victory F.C. booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Claus Skoubo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johans Ortubia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Claus Skoubo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victory F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Victory F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Orland Castañedo came free, but Ricard Ledoseray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johans Ortubia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tøger Nørresø, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Tøger Nørresø left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victory F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ricard Ledoseray didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Monitor Huáscar's Orland Castañedo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After 25 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Orland Castañedo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricard Ledoseray was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Tøger Nørresø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johans Ortubia was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. A hard shot by Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Ricard Ledoseray's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Victory F.C.'s Asbjørn Wagtmann got a free kick in the 41st minute. Emesto Devesas short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Ricard Ledoseray to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Victory F.C. were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Leirup was the one to do the kick off. Victory F.C.'s Ricard Ledoseray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orland Castañedo in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Oxel Viñales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oxel Viñales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Víctor-Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Salgado hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Ralf Leirup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victory F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Leirup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tøger Nørresø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johans Ortubia having to interfere. If Louie Truesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Victory F.C.'s Claus Skoubo got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Emesto Devesa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricard Ledoseray was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Orland Castañedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johans Ortubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tøger Nørresø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Owe Eugen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Txanton Sedeño made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Victory F.C.'s Owe Eugen. With his leg Johans Ortubia managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Victory F.C.'s Ralf Leirup fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victory F.C.'s Tøger Nørresø got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralf Leirup struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Johans Ortubia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victory F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Leirup in the 95th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Johans Ortubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victory F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
