The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Sport Club Cevada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Matanza and Steelers fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Matanza and Steelers's Álvaro de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Matanza and Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
