The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Glasston's Phillip Finden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Santos in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Glasston's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Santos came free, but Phillip Finden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Santos took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phillip Finden. Phillip Finden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Ove Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Finden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Maddern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Antônio Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phillip Finden. Glasston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Maddern. Phillip Finden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pan De Wen charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pan De Wen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a freekick which was hit by Pan De Wen. Antônio Santos took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phillip Finden. Phillip Finden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Phillip Finden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Antônio Santos came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Santos couldn't finish the play. Antônio Santos struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Phillip Finden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙. After the first half ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Pan De Wen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Maddern in the 52nd minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phillip Finden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Glasston's Phillip Finden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Santos in the 62nd minute of play. Glasston's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Antônio Santos scored to the left of an out of position Phillip Finden, making the score, 0-5. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ging Root was substituted for Xande Chaves. In the 70th minute, Arthur Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arthur Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phillip Finden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paolo Maldini in the 75th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Glasston's goalie and right to Ove Ahlström. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Glasston's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Phillip Finden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Ahlström in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Guedes in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Finden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the match, Arthur Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phillip Finden. Glasston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Guedes got free with Phillip Finden in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phillip Finden made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Arthur Guedes sent off a good shot on target. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Pan De Wen got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Pan De Wen off the ground. After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Pan De Wen got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Glasston supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s performance. The match ended with a win for ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙.
