Daniel Jajko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuca Figueiredo in the 5th minute. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when DULCKA KIELCE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baba Močnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Samuca Figueiredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Jajko skillfully saved the ball. Piotr Malarczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Miguel Ángel Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Wasyl Okropny fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miguel Ángel Ortiz, passed just outside the right post. Leopoldo Sanches took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Jajko. Daniel Jajko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walery Klewinski. José Pedro do Valle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, one of DULCKA KIELCE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DULCKA KIELCE. Daniel Jajko had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Leopoldo Sanches's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Daniel Jajko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Sanches went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Abreu in the 33rd minute of play forced DULCKA KIELCE's goalkeeper Daniel Jajko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, DULCKA KIELCE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Malarczyk to maneuver through the defense. Samuca Figueiredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Jajko. DULCKA KIELCE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcus Godinho kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. DULCKA KIELCE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E.R. Caxias do Sul the free kick. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DULCKA KIELCE! The audience was convinced that Marcel Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Jajko was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Marcel Abreu sped through DULCKA KIELCE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Jajko. After the first half S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Walery Klewinski made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Klewinski in the 54th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Jajko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes DULCKA KIELCE got a freekick which was hit by Artur Antoszewski. Samuca Figueiredo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Miguel Ángel Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Klewinski went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Godinho in the 70th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Piotr Malarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Jajko was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Samuca Figueiredo. Samuca Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Daniel Jajko made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Walery Klewinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. DULCKA KIELCE's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Klewinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Ángel Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to DULCKA KIELCE getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Piotr Malarczyk hit a great ball. If Marcus Godinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuca Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Daniel Jajko made a huge save. With his leg Daniel Jajko managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Marcel Abreu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
