Sun Lee took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Osoitz. LegionArgentina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of LegionArgentina booed when GG Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Zangari didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Anfilogino Baruffa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GG Team FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Filippo Morini hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Elia Zangari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Gaspari's late challenge caught a LegionArgentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 46th minute Ettore Tacconelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julián Álvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Mansueto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julián Álvarez in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, GG Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julián Álvarez came free, but Cristiano Mansueto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored GG Team FC's protests and gave Alex Daniele a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes LegionArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Tabby. In the 95th minute Ettore Tacconelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded GG Team FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LegionArgentina.
