The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rigoberto Vilaprenyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Paco Cedeño made a huge save. RACING FBPA's Duarte Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Cano in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Vilaprenyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paco Cedeño made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Rigoberto Vilaprenyo sent off a good shot on target. Paco Cedeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo made a precise shot to the right of Paco Cedeño. Pakorro AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, RACING FBPA's Lovis Kirsch got a free kick in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the game, German Alvarez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pakorro AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RACING FBPA the free kick. Pakorro AFC's Paco Cedeño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Pakorro AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Maraman in the 42nd minute of play forced RACING FBPA's goalkeeper Duarte Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Paco Cedeño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorginho Campidelis. Paco Cedeño was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Jorginho Campidelis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorginho Campidelis really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Maraman to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, RACING FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Suárez to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, RACING FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Ostots came free, but Duarte Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rigoberto Vilaprenyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paco Cedeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Campidelis in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pakorro AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorginho Campidelis was slow to take the kick. During this time RACING FBPA's players had a chance to rest. Rigoberto Vilaprenyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute Rigoberto Vilaprenyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Cedeño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Maraman in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Carneiro saved RACING FBPA from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Pakorro AFC's zone, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paco Cedeño came out of the goal and Rigoberto Vilaprenyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 71st minute of the match German Alvarez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave German Alvarez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Pakorro AFC's German Alvarez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Paco Cedeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79thth minute of the game Jorginho Campidelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pakorro AFC's Paco Cedeño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 81st minute of play forced Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Paco Cedeño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Paco Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Vilaprenyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paco Cedeño was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Paco Cedeño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rigoberto Vilaprenyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Paco Cedeño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pakorro AFC's Placido Ostots got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RACING FBPA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pakorro AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
