An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Bosco in the 4th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Eloy Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Paulino Oxel got a free kick in the 8th minute. Weltevedren's Lucas Perri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Endura in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Petrini came free, but Eloy Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Weltevedren booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo De Matteis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Augusto Bosco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Monte Hermoso Beach's Eloy Raymundo. Eloy Raymundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Weltevedren's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Endura came free, but Lucas Perri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Fanfarone in the 28th minute of play. The corner led to Weltevedren's Flavio Aversa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 32nd minute, Amedeo Petrini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Raymundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristoforo Fanfarone in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Raymundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eloy Raymundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo Fanfarone went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Augusto Bosco came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Weltevedren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Bosco couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Lucas Perri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Augusto Bosco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eloy Raymundo came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Bosco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 58th minute. Eloy Raymundo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cristoforo Fanfarone sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo Fanfarone got free with Eloy Raymundo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monte Hermoso Beach's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Alessio Presutti scored to the left of an out of position Eloy Raymundo, making the score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Gogo Frantzes got a free kick in the 71st minute. Eloy Raymundo was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Amedeo Petrini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amedeo Petrini really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 76 minutes into the game, Amedeo Petrini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Eloy Raymundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eloy Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Bosco in the 81st minute of the match. Eloy Raymundo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristoforo Fanfarone showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 88 minute of play. Cristoforo Fanfarone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Weltevedren's zone, Guillermo Cebrian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Perri came out of the goal and Guillermo Cebrian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Weltevedren played a much better game than Monte Hermoso Beach and deserved their victory. The Monte Hermoso Beach players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
