Achilleas Mavilis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Degas went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Stanyo Tanushev kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theocharis Aggellakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Edgar Degas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achilleas Mavilis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Leo Campana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Campana got free with Achilleas Mavilis in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes in the game, Roland Muusik fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Achilleas Mavilis having to interfere. Herbert Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theocharis Aggellakis in the 85th minute of play. Achilleas Mavilis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Degas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Paschalis Papafotiou in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KS LEW Chorzów's Stanyo Tanushev. 89 minutes into the match, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Achilleas Mavilis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Campana. Achilleas Mavilis made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Leo Campana sent off a good shot on target. Theocharis Aggellakis's late challenge caught a KS LEW Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theocharis Aggellakis helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Theocharis Aggellakis. The ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KS LEW Chorzów's performance. The match ended with a win for KS LEW Chorzów.
