In the 9th minute Edmílson Perfumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Albertinho Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes, Gabino Muguia made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Olavo Loyola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joseba Morea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Gino Rezende made the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the game, TiGrEs Fx's Edmílson Perfumo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavo Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Gabino Muguia put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Olavo Loyola. During the 80th minute of the match Vivaldo de Castro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. TiGrEs Fx played a much better game than S.C. Corinthians Paulista and deserved their victory. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
