Octavia's Ado Abello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Octavia from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes Jan Driessens rounded Octavia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Yuri Davids who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Ado Abello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Dynamo Blitz's Ado Abello threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Driessens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cees Fellinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atarratze Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match, Jan Driessens tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ado Abello saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jim Atsma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ado Abello made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Davids in the 27th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Ado Abello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Paulin Abecia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dynamo Blitz's Cees Fellinger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jurre van Dongen hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nesor Abadie in the 39th minute of play forced Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Cees Fellinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavia's Atarratze Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, one of Octavia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jim Atsma to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Distiratsu Abajas got free with Cees Fellinger in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cees Fellinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulin Abecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dynamo Blitz booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Distiratsu Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Atsma in the 68th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Ado Abello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ado Abello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Nesor Abadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurre van Dongen lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dynamo Blitz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Cees Fellinger went to the wrong direction when Nesor Abadie was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Paulin Abecia's late challenge caught a Dynamo Blitz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulin Abecia helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dynamo Blitz had won after a very even match.
