With a little luck, Esmeraldas S.C.'s Urdin Vives got control of the ball when Co Fuchs tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pankracy Wisniewski got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 12 played minutes Esmeraldas S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cántaro Viladrosa. Allard Borgman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomon Morillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urdin Vives made an important save on a dangerous shot by Co Fuchs in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Co Fuchs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Digitale Dribbelaars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Rien Eringa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27th play minutes Co Fuchs shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Urdin Vives and just under the crossbar into goal. Co Fuchs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urdin Vives having to make a save. After 37 played minutes Esmeraldas S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cántaro Viladrosa. 38 minutes into the match, Rien Eringa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Urdin Vives, 3-0. If Co Fuchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Co Fuchs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Urdin Vives skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. José-Manuel Jane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Co Fuchs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urdin Vives made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Co Fuchs to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Co Fuchs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urdin Vives was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Salomon Morillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Co Fuchs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urdin Vives made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Rien Eringa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Urdin Vives tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urdin Vives made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Bergen in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Co Fuchs in the 71st minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Urdin Vives to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urdin Vives didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rien Eringa went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Co Fuchs in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urdin Vives prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Co Fuchs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urdin Vives narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Co Fuchs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urdin Vives was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ysmael Requenes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Rien Eringa scored 7-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urdin Vives, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Esmeraldas S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Co Fuchs came free, but Urdin Vives reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Esmeraldas S.C. defense, Rien Eringa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urdin Vives. The Esmeraldas S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urdin Vives should have stopped the shot.
