Lam Baril recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Eskil Stenkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Prospero Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Error 404's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Piearres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Shilton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute Prospero Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Error 404's zone, Fred Tutorskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal and Fred Tutorskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Shilton having to interfere. Goren Cabañas charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goren Cabañas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Goren Cabañas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, FC LIVERPOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lam Baril to maneuver through the defense. If Lam Baril had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
